Chocolate Hazelnut Oat Bars (No-Bake)

Simple, chewy, chocolatey bars made with sprouted oats and cacao — no baking, no layering, no nut butter required.


Ingredients (Makes 8–10 bars):

  • 100g Sun & Seed Sprouted & Raw Organic Rolled Naked Oats

  • 10g cacao powder (not raw)

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or date syrup

  • 1 tbsp Sun & Seed Hazelnut Protein Powder (for richness and flavour)

  • 2–3 tbsp warm water (adjust as needed for texture)

  • Pinch of sea salt


Method:

  1. Combine dry ingredients:
    In a bowl, mix the sprouted oats, cacao powder, hazelnut protein, and salt.

  2. Add wet ingredients:
    Pour in the maple syrup and warm water gradually. Stir well until the mixture holds together but isn’t too wet. Add a little more water if needed.

  3. Press into a tray:
    Line a small square dish (approx. 15x15cm) with parchment paper. Press the mixture evenly and firmly into the bottom.

  4. Chill:
    Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm.

  5. Slice and enjoy:
    Cut into squares or bars. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.


Optional Add-Ins:

  • Stir in chopped dark chocolate or sunflower seeds for texture

  • Add orange zest for a twist
