Furikake Rice Bowl with Tofu, Kimchi, Greens & Avocado

This nourishing Furikake Rice Bowl blends textures and flavors from Japan to the British coast — creamy avocado, golden tofu, spicy kimchi, and sesame–nori crunch from our Organic Furikake.

 


Ingredients (serves 2):
– 2 cups cooked Japanese short-grain rice
– ½ block firm tofu, cubed and lightly pan-seared
– 1 ripe avocado, sliced
– A handful of steamed greens (bok choy, spinach, or kale)
– 2 tbsp kimchi
– 1–2 tbsp Sun & Seed Organic Furikake
– 1 tsp tamari or soy sauce
– 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

🥢 To prepare:
1️⃣ Warm the rice and season with tamari and a drizzle of sesame oil.
2️⃣ Arrange tofu, avocado slices, kimchi, and steamed greens beautifully on top.
3️⃣ Finish with a generous sprinkle of Furikake — the toasted sesame and Irish nori add nutty crunch and delicate umami depth.
