Five ingredients and no baking: a snack to keep in the fridge.
Ingredients (makes about 12)
- 80g rolled oats
- 6 tbsp Organic Toasted Almond Butter or Almond PROTEIN Butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2 to 3 tbsp plant milk, as needed
Method
- Mix the oats, cacao and salt in a bowl.
- Add the almond butter and maple syrup and stir to a thick dough.
- Add plant milk a spoonful at a time until the mixture holds together when squeezed.
- Roll into 12 balls. Roll in extra cacao or desiccated coconut if you like.
- Chill for 30 minutes. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Tip
The protein butter makes a lighter, drier dough, so you may need a little more milk.
