Black Tahini Hummus



  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons black tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Water (as needed for consistency)
  • Optional garnishes: a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of black sesame seeds, and fresh herbs
